SERVICES

We welcome visitors to all our services, and we always aim to make people of all ages feel at home – we warmly invite you to come.

Sunday Morning Service

Our Sunday morning service is at 10.30 am and usually lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. It alternates between Morning Worship and Holy Communion with ‘All Age’ services during the school holidays.

We enjoy lively worship led by our regular Worship Group and monthly by our Youth Band. We are inspired by Bible stories and how to apply God’s values to our everyday lives, and pray for the needs of our community and world.

Café Church

We also have an occasional, more interactive, Café Church style service in our Church Hall during school holidays. Refreshments are served after our Morning Worship services in church, but throughout our Café Church services.

Please look at the Church Diary for details of services this month.

You may find the following information helpful:

Children and young people

During the morning service our young people leave for teaching and activities in their own groups called – Splash Kids and Lighthouse

Splash Kids is for our children aged 3 to 10 yrs. This runs approximately 10.45am-11.15am and the group aims to provide bible-based activities that cater for the age-range of the children involved. You can find details of the programme on the Splash Kids page.

Lighthouse is for our young people in the 11 to 16 yrs age group. It provides an opportunity for them to discuss and question the fundamentals of the Christian faith and what it means to live a Christian life in today’s world.

If you have very young children, there is a carpeted area and some soft toys available at the side of the church.

Time to Pray

We meet on a Wednesday morning at 9:30 am in church to read and meditate on one of the Psalms and to pray for the needs of the world, our community and of individuals who are known to us.

MESSY CHURCH is a free, fun-filled activity for ALL AGES and aims to provide an opportunity for everyone to be creative, to have fun & to share a meal together.

This continues to be a really exciting way for families in this area to meet together and enjoy a time of free activities, fellowship and food, with God very much in the centre of all that goes on.

A typical Messy Church session (if there is such a thing!) involves a time of craft and creativity around a given biblical theme or story, followed by a short time of praise and celebration in church. We then round everything off with a meal which gives everyone a chance to chat and get to know each other better.

If you fancy coming along to find out a bit more about Messy Church then you are welcome to join us at our next event. Come along and bring all your friends.
